What should we pay attention to for a cone crusher?

When a cone crusher works, it should pay attention to these points:

(1)  The ores should be fed into the middle of the distribution plate, and must not directly be fed into the crushing cavity. Because if we directly feed the ores into the crushing cavity, the crusher will burden too much and the liner plate will burden uneven abrasion. So we should feed the ores in this way:

a. the ores should be distributed evenly into the crushing cavity through the distribution plate.

b. the fed ores must not be higher than the concaves level.

(2)  The maximum ores size should not be the same with the ores feeding size of the cone crusher( maximum ores size≤85% ores feeding size of the cone crusher). Or, it will lead to these bad results: a. Reduce the cone crusher production capacity. b. Damage some cone crusher parts.

 

 

 

 

(3)  If a cone crusher burdens too much, it must not be started to work. Or, a serious accident will happen.

(4)  When a cone crusher stops working, the feeder should stop first. In addition, when cone crusher should not stop until the ores in the crushing cavity have been crushed to discharge.

(5)  When a cone crusher works, the locking system pressure and hydraulic station working condition should be inspected regularly. And if there are some problems, we should deal with them at once.
